But first, what exactly is “Color Analysis”?
Color analysis is a method used to determine which colors best complement an individual's natural features, such as skin tone, eye color, and hair color. By identifying your "season" (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn) and a more specific "sub-season," you can discover a palette of colors that enhances your natural beauty. Let me tell you how this massively impacted my life…
I came across this Instagram post showing a side-by-side of someone in and out of their most flattering colors and I could not believe that changing your shirt could do something so drastic to your face. I’d been feeling like I’ve been looking weathered and tired lately, especially in photos, so it intrigued me. When my sister came to visit, we tore through my closet for colors that fell into every season and started draping and photographing to see if we could figure our seasons out.
What I found out was shocking!
I am a “Bright Winter”, so my most flattering colors (by a mile!) are cool-toned and bright. And my closet was about 90% warm-toned and muted, the complete opposite of what works for me! So I went shopping for winter color shirts and changed my hair color to a cooler blonde and I feel so much more youthful and vibrant!
It’s a simple marriage of art and color science.
When you are out of your season’s palette colors, gray tones, shadows, lines, splotchiness, redness, you name it, will be drawn out. It creates disharmony and highlights any imbalance. If your skin tone is warm and muted and you pair it with a nice soft warm tone it is going to create balance and harmony. Your skin will look bright, even, and creamy. You’ll look healthier, your teeth will look whiter, and your eyes will be more vibrant.
This was so amazing to me that I wanted to learn as much as I could to be able to provide this for my clients, so I took a comprehensive course to gain a thorough knowledge of each season, sub-season, and how to analyze someone by discovering their skin tones, undertones, the contrast levels of their features, etc.

Undertone Analysis: $35 | 30 minutes
Not ready to commit to a full analysis just yet? No prob! Come in for a quick half hour appointment to discover whether you have a warm or cool undertone. After that we’ll do a hair color consultation to look at some photos with your most flattering undertone so that you have some inspiration for your next color appointment. This is the first step to color analysis, so if you decide to complete a full analysis later, this cost will be deducted from that service.
